Membrane Containment Systems
As global push towards a cleaner energy source, we may see a huge opportunities in LNG-related businesses within the next few years. More so after the announcement by IMO’s Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC) on the implementation of a global cap on sulphur content of marine fuel. Possibly we may see existing vessels being refitted to meet the cap requirement, as well as companies switching to use low sulphur fuels such as LNG. This may bring about the rise of LNG bunkering, and the need for LNG transportation and distribution services around the region.
It may also create an increase demand for small-scale LNG facilities for geographical locations like islands and archipelago states. As each of the end-customers has only small volume requirement for LNG, and due to the current transportation infrastructures, smaller scale LNG supply chain solutions, via small-scale LNG membrane vessels and ISO tanks, would be the viable option.
We recognize the potential changes; further enhances our business capabilities by incorporating non-destructive testing with the retrofit and repair service for LNG membrane type vessel in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. We also expanded our portfolio into the provision and construction of small-scale LNG membrane vessels, providing small-scale LNG supply chain solutions to our clients.
